By car, Loreto is located 750 miles south of San Diego, California via Mexico Highway 1 out of Tijuana, Baja Norte. Once passing the state line you will enter the state of Baja California Sur at the city of Guerrero Negro (driving time around 10 hours). Approx 5 hours south of Guerrero Negro turn left at the sign reading "Loreto" and continue to the waterfront or "malecon" on Avenida Salvatierra. At the waterfront, turn right and Sukasa is located one block down the street. Loreto is also serviced by a direct 80 minute flight from San Diego on Aeromexico Airlines as well as flights out of Los Angeles on Aerocalifornia and Alaska Airlines. Flights are subject to change. Please check the airlines. At this time Aeromexico no longer services San Diego, but other carriers are rumored to be picking up more routes to Loreto.

Budget and Hertz rental cars are located in Loreto. To visit the beautiful, pristine beaches on Bahia Concepcion, one hour north of town, the quaint town of Mulege, beaches south of Loreto or other places of interest, we suggest you rent a car for a few days. You can call either company direct or rent a car at the airport. Some of our clients have reported they have gotten better rates over the internet.
