Loreto enjoys one of the purest water supplies on the continent. Our water comes from underground springs. Additionally, the Resort treats it before it gets to you. Yes, the water is safe to drink!

The airport is 5 miles or 8.5 kilometers north of the Solare Resort, a short 10-minute ride.

And the City of Loreto?
The City of Loreto is 7 miles or 11.2 kilometers north of the Solare Resort, a short 15-minute ride that costs approximately $22.00 dollars for a Round Trip via taxi.

What should I pack?
Definitely a bathing suit is a must, sunscreen, hats, shorts, sandals and general Resort clothing. Don't forget your golf and tennis shoes! For the evenings, bring a light sweater if you are visiting us during the winter months. Chances are you will not wear it.

How difficult is the golf course?
Ours is a true par 72 - 6,800 yard course. As is common on most desert golf courses, the fairways are narrow and challenging. The course is fairly flat and well laid out. A few water hazards make it very interesting. Our signature hole is waiting for you to sacrifice at least one ball to the local gods that live in the water! It is fun, demanding and pleasure to play.
